New Beginnings USA exists to open the door for Latin American — and international — athletes into higher education in the United States and Italy, through sport.
He lived the U.S. college athletics system firsthand: he played competitive soccer starting in Panama's first-division reserve category, went through the NJCAA system at Parkland College, and reached the NAIA at Clarke University, where he graduated with a double major in Sport Management and Business. Today he leads New Beginnings USA's athletic department with the insight of someone who has already walked the path.
Industrial Engineer with over 12 years of experience optimizing complex operations: 8 years in the aviation industry, managing logistics, regulatory compliance and international coordination, plus 4 years in the tourism industry coordinating experiences for travelers of every nationality. Today she runs New Beginnings USA's operations with that same precision — every admission, every visa, and every logistical detail handled without leaving anything to chance.

Ana and Enrique Horna, siblings from Panama, founded New Beginnings USA with a clear purpose: no athlete with talent and discipline should miss the chance to study abroad simply for lack of connections or guidance.
We place athletes from all over the world, and work both with students seeking their first scholarship and with athletes already in high school or university who want to transfer to a program that fits them better.
Enrique's Path
Before founding the agency, Enrique lived the very path he now helps his athletes walk: the reserve category of professional soccer in Panama, the U.S. college system — from an NJCAA junior college to an NAIA university — and graduating with a double major in Sport Management and Business.
